Learning to draw (and to see) is a rewarding process. Here are two of my drawings after getting half way through “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards.
I used the grid to help me extensively in the shoe drawing. It help a lot with the composition, but I don’t want to become overly reliant on it.
In the rocking chair drawing I only used the grid to help me draw the “Basic Unit”, which is why some parts of the chair look strange.
